Favorite parenting moments: I love discovering new things and places with our daughter. We enjoy playing, cooking, dancing, swimming and other sports, and creating new things together, but my favorite times are in the quiet of the day, snuggled in bed together, reading, and reflecting on the day/week. There is nothing like the feeling of having your child beside you. I always say to her “do you know where my most favorite place in the world to be is?”, and she answers, “right here’’ and she is always right. I believe it’s so important to look your children in the eye and tell them how much they mean to you, how special they are, and how important they are. I always try to let my daughter know how much she is loved, and all the things about her that make her so wonderful. As she grows, I reflect on a quote: Enjoy the little things in life…..for one day you’ll look back and realize they were the big things. And, they truly are, the big things.
